5 Steps to success

#Step one

Book a consultation

The aim of the consultation is to determine what your goal is and identify any struggles or barriers stopping you from moving forward. Once we establish these two factors, we can start to look into implementing strategies that are going to help you overcome these barriers and move you toward your goal.

#Step Two

Movement assessment

A movement assessment consists of a full body evaluation of mobility, stability & strength. Within this session I am looking to identify muscle tightness, weakness or imbalances. If you suffer with any pain or continuous discomfort this session will identify why. Once I have gathered the information I can incorporate the appropriate exercises into our session. Creating a workout that is specific to you.

#Step 3

Nutrition Consultation & goal setting.

In this session we will set a goal & date in which to achieve it. Once we have a date we will reverse engineer the process & decide the steps need to be taken in order for you to achieve the target. Nutrition is going to play a big part in these steps. Therefore, we will review your last 7 days of food intake & use that as the foundations to create a new food plan. In order for a food plan to be successful it needs to contain foods you enjoy. Together we can create a food plan that will work for you.

#Step 4

Getting into the gym

Let’s get you moving! This is where the exercise journey starts. I will take you into the gym and coach each movement pattern in detail. My job as a personal trainer is to teach you how to execute each movement pattern and give you an understanding why. A workout program should be fun, enjoyable and challenging. I want you to enjoy the 45-60 minutes you are going to be in the gym. If you are exercising 3-4 times a week it has to be enjoyable. 

#Step 5

Consistency and commitment

At the start of this process we will set goals & habits that are both achievable and realistic. Once we have the goal set I want you to know the process you are following is helping you more forward and progress. Therefore, we will agree a weekly metric that we can use to track your progress.
