I have listed the movements in order of difficulty (easiest to hardest).
“Bang for your Buck”
The Key benefits of a Split Squat;
- Improves ankle dorsiflexion (flexibility)
- Increases ankle, hip & knee stability
- Strengthens the quadricep, glute & calf muscles
This one exercise has benefits that range from improving your Barbell Squat performance to helping you be more stable on your feet & at a lower risk of falling. For this reason I believe this exercise should be included in every training program, no matter what the goal.
